Juliet teaches science, mentors STEM teachers and leads teacher workshops both in the states and abroad.  Her goal is to change the relationships students have with science, health, and their communities.

Most recently, Juliet lead a series of workshops on community action planning and grant writing for Earthwatch Institute Fellows on expeditions in Ecuador, the Arctic, Arizona, California and Maine. Juliet also started an Urban Farming program at her school that received national attention when her students were featured on Katie Couric’s Earthday episode with Jane Goodall. She also spoke on the topic of expeditionary learning at the Earthwatch Summit at Harvard University, and currently writes greenhouse curriculum for New York Sun Works.

During her free time, Juliet volunteers on sustainable projects that have included: preserving beach trails on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, farming in Northern Italy, and collecting data on songbird migration in Jacksonville, Wyoming.
