David graduated from University of Illinois in May 2010 with a degree in History.  During the summer, he joined the New York City Teaching Fellows Program as a general science teacher certified to teach grades 5-9.  After spending two amazing years as a middle school teacher, David received his Master’s degree in Education from Brooklyn College.  As an educator, David has committed himself to a lifetime of learning.  Therefore, he has continuously sought out opportunities to improve his practice.  David is currently certified in IB Biology and is a Master Teacher for Math for America.  In addition, he has been awarded fellowships through NYU and Stanford University.  David currently teaches high school Living Environment and IB Biology in Brooklyn.
